​Jerome L Collins, 26 years of age, from Milwaukee County has been arrested by the Wisconsin
State Patrol Waukesha Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.

​Jerome L. Collins 03/16/1993  was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol. A Wisconsin State
Trooper stopped a vehicle for a speed violation on I-41 northbound at State Trunk Highway 142 in Kenosha.

A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted and a jar of marijuana was
seized, along with a smoking device. Collins one month old child and the child’s mother were in the vehicle as well. Collins’s was run through Standard Field Sobriety Testing and placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated.

The driver was charged with Felony Possession of THC, Operating While Intoxicated with a
Passenger Under 16 years of Age, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating After Suspension and Operating without Insurance. The child and mother were transported by Kenosha Sheriff’s Deputies to a safe location.

“Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
