Alejandro Tellez Romero, 37 years of age, from Madison has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol DeForest Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.

A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper observed and stopped a vehicle that was unable to maintain its lane. Upon approaching the vehicle, the trooper observed that the driver had multiple signs of impairment and that there was a 13 month old child in the backseat. After administering SFSTs, the trooper arrested the driver for OWI 4th Offense. The child was turned over to CPS after all attempts to contact a family member were unsuccessful.
