For decades, since the beginning of statehood, We had small rallies, meetings during election times in front rooms, back yards, stores, churches, groups etc. That fell apart 20 plus years ago and we stopped grass roots then, except for Assembly and smaller electionsn.
It was big mistake.
We elected Scott Walker with those, years back, cause we did not have lots of money for his campaign.
I know of people that had 150 coffees in a Congressional district, Assembly district with people in their homes and they won cause they energized lots of people.
We need you again, in your neighborhoods, to have some back yard BBQs, coffees in cool weather, small rallies at lodges, restaurants etc.
How to do them?
Here is what we will be doing, besides our 51st annual Chicken Burn on Aug. 30th biggest, best, world famous, on Aug 30.
We have two districts in our corner of Tosa. They’re marginally GOP. We have never lost our precinct in a partisan race, or even non partisan.
Tosa has gone over to the dark side cause the GOP forgot about us and ignored us, despite the fact that we have told everyone about the problems, and the aggressiveness of the Left wing nutcases, that want Sanctuary cites, open borders, tax the 401ks/rich, Anti-Christian, Anti-Semitic, pro recreational drug use, confiscating our guns, abortion till birth, freebies for everyoen except those that will have to pay for the freebies by getting their 401ks taxed..
So, on July 5th we will energize our two districts through Facebook: Tosans for Responsible government, other Facebook sites, Emails. We will have local kids drop flyers in the neighborhood.
We will have party in the afternoon from 1-4 Pm of all-American fare: hotdogs, root beer, potatoe salad, baked beans and ask everyone to bring a dessert, snack.
At the picnic we will have yard signs, social media articles, letters to the Editor, phone speeches and places where epee can drop their neighborhood with Dear Friend cards.
There will not be any charge but we will take donations.
If we have a thousand of these, in the next 8 months, we will have 50,000 volunteers.
We need everyone.
The Left hates Vets, Gunners, Sportsmen, Tea party people, businessmen, Conservatives, Trump people. Everyone that wants to fight.
WE will get speakers from our local legislators.. Mayors etc.
