On Thursday, February 27th at 1:00 PM, Attic Angel Community will host a solar open house. RENEW Wisconsin, residents and staff of Attic Angel Community, and project developer SunVest Solar will offer presentations on the economic and environmental benefits of solar electricity.
Attic Angel Community is a nonprofit senior living campus with lifestyle amenities and a continuum of health care, including assisted living memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. In the fall of 2019, the community installed 390 solar panels on top of The Haven, a full-time senior care facility. They received a $20,000 grant from RENEW Wisconsin’s Solar for Good program to assist with the installation costs.
